knit bracelets

Posted on | October 1, 2008 | 19 Comments

An easy learn to knit project for teaching the purl stitch are these knit bangle bracelets, worked in two colors in reverse stockinet stitch.

Learn to knit class starts this Friday at the Wisdom Arts Lab.

Edited to add, I’ve made the pattern available as a free download on ravelry. Enjoy!

Those look like a great project for all ages! Good luck with the class… kids had their first knitting lesson at school the other day (all the kids get lessons in the schools in Shetland) and Sage is going to make a snake to befriend the one I made for him!

What a terrific idea! I will pass that on to my girlfriend who teaches grade 2. It would be a cool project for her class.
