    oh i love this one too! it feels like spring. and so joyful as well. i can see your work being inspired by all the wonderful flowers in southern california.

    You do stunning work.
    South Africa does a lot of embroidery. The popular wall hangings for tourists are animals done in colour shaped blocks. I could try to email you a pic of the two I have, if you would like.
    They remind me of some of the work my father picked up in South America – although they used fabric blocks, instead of embroidery.
