Thanks so much for an informative and very inspiring interview with Laura Nelkin!

I especially like that you asked Laura about how to make sure your bead does not “disappear” into the purlside of the work. It’s these kinds of questions that I think many knitters want to know when they start a new beading project for the first time.

Love your version and the lively colors you choose, enjoy wearing it and I agree, that alpaca could NOT withstand the washing!

this is a great post! such interesting questions in the interview. i really like Laura’s answer to knitting design inspiration – that she often designs to fit holes in someone’s wardrobe or to create a gift someone might like.

i love your finished cuff and those blue buttons on the orange.
